10 Must-Have Workout Essentials for Your Home Fitness Routine - Keep Details

The pandemic has been a challenging period in our lives, and to stay in quarantine was more difficult. The isolation has made us realize how important it is to remain fit throughout the pandemic. Maintaining a workout routine in this quarantine is difficult, and many of us have struggled due to it. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle in lockdown is tough as we don’t know when it will end. But we have rounded up some fantastic and beneficial exercises for you to stay healthy and fit. You must invest in home fitness equipment and online yoga classes because it is an efficient way to remain fit and active. By following this routine, I have experienced significant changes in my body. I have never been this fit and healthy in a long time, and it’s because of these products. We are hoping that lockdown never happens again in the future, but we never know what will happen next. So, it’s better to be prepared for a future lockdown. Besides, a home workout setup is beneficial in many ways, and you can workout at home quickly following a busy schedule. Below listed are the equipment which made it easier for me to remain fit and healthy throughout the lockdown:  

Manduka Yoga Mat 

Yoga is an efficient way to remain fit mentally and physically, and that’s all we needed in the lockdown. Yoga has been made much simpler and easy to do by following online classes. There are different types of yoga; you must find out which type is better for you. Also, yoga cannot be done like any other exercise, but it requires a proper yoga mat. A yoga mat is necessary because its anti-slip quality prevents you from falling. You must invest in a high-quality and durable yoga mat. Yoga Blocks 

If you want to prevent muscle stiffness or tightness, you must use yoga blocks. Yoga blocks make it easier to balance your body and improve your body posture and flexibility. It has helped my body stretch more than usual. If you are following a yoga routine, you must invest in yoga blocks. They are essential in improving the body’s stamina and strength. I regret not buying them before. 

Pilates Ball 

The Pilates workout is quite popular nowadays. If you want to maintain a balanced body posture and improve your spine health, Pilates balls are best for it. It’s a unique and interesting exercise, but you must learn it first. It helps strengthen your body and makes it flexible. 

Resistance bands 

If you want to build muscles and don’t want to lift heavy weights, you can try resistance bands. They provide the same benefits as lifting weights. You can do more exercises with it than you imagine. It’s a great invention and decreases the risk factor of injury. From beginners to pros, everyone can use it. Different types of resistance bands are available, such as Thera Band, pull-up bands, stretch straps, Fabric bands, etc. You may buy the one that suits you. 

Pull up bar. 

The pull-up bar was recommended by my brother, and it’s worth it. Pull-up bars are essential in strengthening your upper body and your back muscles. It can be fixed on any door panel in your house. You can use them as pull-ups or hang on them. You can also manage to use it for push-ups by putting it on the floor. 

Foam Roller 

If your muscle sores after a workout, then you must buy a foam roller. You will know the importance once you buy it. I have an inflexible body, and it becomes the worst case after exercising. As my muscles get sore, this foam roller has been a lifesaver for me. Due to quarantine, we cannot visit the spa, and after exercising, foam rolling for 20 minutes has been an effective way to reduce muscle soreness.  

Furthermore, it improves body posture, flexibility, and muscular performance. If you don’t work out every day, you can use the foam roller for 35 minutes and stretch your body. It works like a massager and makes your body feel relaxed. It also strengthens your mobility and range of motion. It’s highly effective, and you must buy it for your home workout.  

Lacrosse Ball 

Having minor muscle pain after a workout is usual. However, suffering from it every time after a workout is not good, and to reduce it, you can use a lacrosse ball. You can use it on the bottom of the feet, shoulder, upper back, and the sides of your body. You can improve your body’s flexibility and mobility by using a lacrosse ball and foam roller. It will be an efficient addition to your home workout sessions. 

Skipping Rope 

Skipping rope is always a good idea to warm up your body. Moreover, in quarantine it is more beneficial in improving your heart health, burns calories, and weight loss. It keeps you active and focused, and it is a workout that strengthens your body’s coordination. 

TRX 

If you want to follow a new workout routine and get bored with these simple exercises. You must invest in the TRX set. It utilizes your body weight during the workout and has some great benefits. It can improve your core strength and flexibility. It has many options for full-body exercise, but you must learn it first. 

ASICS Shoe 

Comfortable shoes are crucial for your workout session. Getting the right pair of shoes is difficult, but you can search online for whatever you need. The ASICS shoes are best for running and are comfortable at the same time. I bought ASICS Gel Nimbus, and it’s incredible. It is available in different colors, and I bought it in black and gold, which goes well with all my workout clothing. I wear it to my home workout sessions, but now I also use it for running in the evening. You must have heard that wearing the right shoes at the right time is worth it.
